City-Wide Leaf Collection has Started!

Leaf Collection

The leaves are already turning, which means they will start falling before you know it. The Rochester Department of Public Works began leaf collection for residents within the City on Monday, October 16th.

City Leaf Pick-Up has Begun!

Residents are NOW encouraged to simply rake their leaves to the curb, and the City will come and pick them up. Please do not throw brush or garden trimmings in the leaf piles as it plugs up the machines. If the crews see brush or garden trimmings in the leaf piles they will leave that pile uncollected.

It is important to keep our roadways free of debris to ensure the City’s storm water system functions effectively and efficiently. Please remove all compostable debris from the road on a regular basis to keep our catch basins clean. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Rochester Department of Public Works at (248) 651-5165.
