The trees are bare and the City of Rochester leaf crews have been very busy this season.  The Rochester Department of Public Works is almost closing out the 2017 curbside leaf collection season.

We appreciate all of your help with another successful leaf season!

We still encourage City of Rochester residents to rake their leaves to the street as we will be working on leaf collection processes until the end of November this year.  Please have your leaves out to the curb no later than Monday, 11/27/2017 by 7 am for the final week of leaf collection.  This is a tentative date as DPW services are dependent upon weather and scheduling.

City of Rochester residents will also have an opportunity to place their compost and yard waste bags to the curb for final pick up by GFL Environmental, Inc. the week of December 4, 2017.  Please have everything out to the curb by 7 am on your regularly scheduled pick up day.

It is important to keep our roadways free of debris to ensure the City of Rochester's storm water system functions effectively and efficiently. Please remove all compostable debris from the road on a regular basis to keep our catch basins clean. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Rochester Department of Public Works at (248) 651-5165.
