Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 Election Information

American Flag

Sample Ballots and Absentee Ballots are now available for the Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 Election. If you have already applied for an absentee ballot, you should expect to receive your ballot by mail in early October.

Sample Ballots

Sample ballots are now available online at http://rochestermi.org/505/Sample-Ballots. Hard copies of sample ballots are also available in person at City Hall.

Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballots are available by mail or in person.

You no longer need to provide a reason to request an absentee ballot.

In order to receive an absentee ballot by mail or in person, a signed application must be submitted to the Clerk's Office. If you plan on picking up your ballot in person, please bring photo identification. Applications are available at City Hall and can also be found at the following link: https://www.michigan.gov/documents/AbsentVoterBallot_105377_7.pdf

If you have already applied for an absentee ballot for this election, your ballot should arrive by mail within the first two weeks of October.

Permanent Absent Voter List

The absentee ballot application now features a checkbox that enables you to request to be added to the Permanent Absent Voter List. Requesting to be added to the Permanent Absent Voter List means that you will be added to the City's mass mailing list for absentee ballot applications prior to every election, being added to the list will not prevent you from voting in person in future elections if you should choose to do so.
